I’m a Professional Computer Geek in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I tend to waste all of my free time away doing something or other on the computer. I’m a big fan of computer games, typically shooters or RPG’s. I also dabble in programming. I’m fairly good with C and C++ and I’m working on PHP, HTML, and Javascript; and I’m working on Flex and C#. I prefer to use Linux, but until game developers make the switch I am stuck with Windows as well.

I went to school at Penn State University and managed to get a degree in Electrical Engineering. Which I promptly ignored and got a job as a network administrator in a small business. After leaving that job, I moved into the technical support department of my current employer. I’ve shuffled around to a few different departments, and eventually found myself where I am now.

I’m a big fan of stories. I use that in a general sense since I’ll accept any format. Movies, TV shows, novels, comic books, video games, and table top games; wherever I can get a story I’ve given it a look. In most cases I still check there to this day.

I’ll admit to being a hopeless geek. I’m pretty sure I hit every possible geek past time. Engineer, Programming, Dungeons & Dragons, and comic books. I’m pretty sure thats incontrovertible proof. If you feel the need to, you can e-mail me at: vodobaas -at- gmail dot com

The word Mindlence came from a mistake. I was trying to describe a new video game I was playing, I think it was Incoming, as mindless violence. I was a bit rushed and the words got jumbled together. It stuck around as a joke we’d kick around from time to time.

When I was first learning about DNS and web server setup I needed a domain name for it. Nothing better came to mind so it became the domain and became attached to all my projects. It’ll be around for quite a while, as the registration is good for another four years.
